AI Now Retrieves Invoices Because Humans Can't Be Trusted With Basic Tasks

AI, Startups, ai agent, CUA, Twin

In a groundbreaking development that has absolutely no one questioning their life choices, Twin has unveiled its first AI agent designed to fetch invoices for Qonto customers. Because apparently, remembering where you saved your receipts is now a task too Herculean for mere mortals.

Emerging from stealth mode like a ninja who's late for their own surprise party, Twin has partnered with Qonto to bring this revolutionary technology to the masses. "We noticed that humans were spending upwards of 30 seconds searching for their invoices," said a Twin spokesperson, visibly shaken by the horror. "We knew we had to act."

The AI agent, dubbed "Invoice Indiana Jones," promises to brave the treacherous depths of your email archives and document folders to retrieve those elusive bills. "It's like having a personal assistant, if your personal assistant was a piece of software that judged you silently," the spokesperson added.

Here's how it works (because you definitely asked):

  • You realize you need an invoice for, like, tax purposes or something.
  • Instead of doing a basic search in your email (too hard), you summon Invoice Indiana Jones.
  • The AI sighs internally (we think) and retrieves the document in less time than it takes to microwave a burrito.

Critics argue that this is a solution in search of a problem, but Twin insists that automating such tasks is the future. "Next, we're working on an AI that will remind you to breathe," joked the spokesperson, before clarifying that they were, in fact, not joking.

As for Qonto's 500,000 customers across Europe, they can now rest easy knowing that the daunting task of invoice retrieval has been outsourced to a machine. Because in 2024, if it's not AI-powered, is it even worth doing?
